/paperthin promises

It's so hot here, I can't help wishing I was holidaying in some cool country.
Summer's not anywhere near over,
but I know that when the day that school starts approaches,
I would be wishing there would be more summer to come.
I know, go figure.

Haven't been horse riding for ages,
& I miss it soo bad,
I want to just go back to it,
It's the only thing that can really make me unwind,
Let me loose myself completely for just that hour or so.

I don't know if this is a lie,
I don't know if this was all pretenses,
I don't know if all that has been said was really the truth,
I don't know if I can stop now,
I don't know what to do if i were to leave,
I don't know if I can do all this without breaking,
I don't know if i can trust myself,
I don't know if this is true.
But I want it to be, I want it to be so bad.
